Lots of comparisons between the Merc 115 4 stroke and Yamaha but no dyno records posted that I have been able to find. The F150 made max hp about 300 RPM less than everyone was saying and was very helpful. A few years ago when I was running a F 150 one on the members had a copy of the F150 dyno numbers. I was hoping that someone has had one of these on a dyno and could share. Wondering at what RPM max HP was made and how aggressive the power range is. I have asked both hydra Tech and Dave Busch Racing about dyno sheets seems like if a company is reflashing there ECU they would have set up the motor on a dyno to see if the reflash had performance gains. They rated the 115 HP at 5500 RPM but factory max RPM is 6300 seems like if it is rated at 5500 and redline is 6300 either they make more than 115 HP at 6300 or there is no need to twist it pass 5500 if that’s where it’s making max HP. They have a max RPM at 6300 as per Yamaha.
I have been looking for a dyno chart on the Yamaha SHO 115 /VF115.
